I have a live cd of Linux - Puppy 4.0
so i want to install linux from my live cd to Hard disk; and i dont have floppy disk drive,
pls help me...

hi ,
ya i tried but it doesn't work..............puppy is loading to HDD but not booting, i thing something should do in the boot
loader, grub loader ,lilo or something..........
any idea...........????????

I use grub4dos as a boot manager - there is a sample menu.lst entry for puppy here:

Although you probably don't need the hide and unhide sections. Should be able to adapt it to grub too, if that is your current boot manager.

There's a how to guide at this site. Be careful, if you install Grub to your MBR, it'll be trashed if you want to reinstall Windows.
You'll have to repair it via Recovery Console, don't ask me how I know this.
