install .net framework Rate Topic: -----

after i install the vista, i cant install the .net framework, when the installation near complete, it will roll back and say unsuccessful install, what component need to keep for install .net framework?

I presume .NET 3.5.

Component Cache (winsxs). You can also extract the 3.5 installer, integrate MSP files then winsxs can be removed and 3.5 will install fine later on. Note that these MSPs integrate for a looong time.

actually i am installing .net framework 1.1, i have the .net framework instllation file, but its .exe, how to extract and get those file as u said?

and integrated as hotfix at vlite?

is it possible to integrate msp files, how can that be done?
