I have Win 2000 Server. I often like to reformat or restore my operating system. I always have to re-enter all of my users and groups back into my Active Directory. Is there a way to back up that information? Is there a file in which it is contained that I could burn to CD or floppy. Is there a way to export the list perhaps and then re-import it after I reformat and reinstall my operating system?

Isn't there something in 'Administrative Tools' that allows you to back-up. I know there is some option to do a backup on things like the registry. What is that command....Is it in Administrative tools? Will it provide me with a backup up all of my users. I read the document you had a link to. It was extremely helpful, I handed out copies to all of the other techs here at the NBA. Thanks!
