VLite - Why do I need 1.3GB AIK?! Is it a must to have AIK to use vLite?

edit - (also see next post) the above refers to "wingapi.dll"; correct name appears to be "wimgapi.dll", and perhaps other items may be necessary. Follow next post's advice...

So in an effort to not have MS on his but nuhi decided (and wisely so) that he must remove the file.
Thus if you are really dedicated to using vLite and customizing the Vista DVD then you must install waik. You can always uninstall it afterwords.
Plus there is a very easy solution if you care to read a few posts in this forum section relating to the exact same thing...
