ive got a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 and i installed windows 98 SE on anther partition but when i try and change the resolution the screen goes black and stays like a dos screen when windows starts up or sometimes the monitor isnt even sent a signal
i looked up the support on Nvidia and they said it dont work if you have 512 of more RAM so i assume that is what the problem is
does anyone know anyway to fix this?

what kindda error is that
if you have 512 or more ram it'll fail, very stupid.
though I don't know the exact solution. I know I thing
you can install xp.
I'm think the reason why u keep win98 is that u play old games right?
you can install xp and virtual pc. and on virtual pc you can install win98 a nd enjoy your games..
maybe 1 thing is your motherboard an athlon(amd) board? if so you need to enable the agp patch.
