Folder issues unhiding hidden folders Rate Topic:

Im trying to unhide this folder that has hidden itself for some reason by unchecking the "hide folder" option then hitting apply but when I right click and properties the folder again it is still hidden! How do I unhide this folder???

Is this a folder you created or part of Windows or from a program? If the folder is marked as a Protected System File, it can retain the hidden status even if you uncheck the Hidden box.
