i have an server 2003 cd and can't find any bootdisks in the net.

how could i get them? maybe build them out of the server 2003. or the running server?!?

are they really needed, what if i chain to an subfolder in which the cd-content is located?

junale: why not just boot to the CD?
What if everything around you, isn't quite as it seems...
What if all the world you used to know, is an elaborate dream...
And if you look at your reflection, Is that all you want to be?
What if you could look right through the cracks, Would you find yourself... find yourself afraid to see?

Use the boot-sector of winXp (extract from an ASPI iso image of the CD).

why not just boot to the CD?

@un4given1 - if you look at the maintopic 'multi-boot cd/dvds' you could maybe realize that i wan't to add another system to our corporate dvd.

Use the boot-sector of winXp (extract from an ASPI iso image of the CD).

@prathapml - because we have an original vlk-license and a media i used to extract to boot-code from the 2003 server cd. but i think this was obsolete, because all boot-code seem to be the same (just loads SETUPLDR.BIN, but i'm not sure: haven't compared the bootcode)

@likuidkewl - at first glance seems to be right, but with gladiacs link (see below) it should be no problem. but if i have a bit time, i'll go through the article and give it a try. thanks anyway

ja, mach ich für euch leute...

@Gladiac - in my opinion we should stay english, cause we're at an internatinal board. but if you pm me - schreib ruhig deutsch :D ['you can write german']. for all others please excuse some mistakes in spelling or grammar, it's a foreign language for me :D .oO{pfui, they don't here my pronunciation}
