Most ppl probably allready know this, but just in case that someone didn't, then here follows MPC's command-line switches for setting file-associations silently...

/regvid ; sets all video formats to MPC
/regaud ; sets all audio formats to MPC
/unregvid ; unsets all video formats from MPC
/unregaud ; unsets all audio formats from MPC

Example install script:

xcopy mplayerc.exe "%programfiles%\Media Player Classic\"
"%programfiles%\Media Player Classic\mplayerc.exe" /regvid
