Hello everyone.
On the computer at my work depot (which runs Windows 2000), there's an annoying thing happening with Outlook Express.
When an email message is opened, there's a whole lot of text above the main message text - I can't remember whther it's called the header or something else.
The problem is, it's been so long since I used OE that I've forgotten how to stop these lines of text appearing.
I'm sure I was able to do it when I used OE, so is anyone able to jog my memory?
Thanx and regards,
scoopyx.

Yea that sounds like Full Headers are turned on. I pulled this out of the help file:
When looking up disabling Headers in the Index.

To change the display of the preview pane
The preview pane lets you view message contents without opening the message in another window. To preview a message, click its title once. To open it in its own window, double-click the title.
You can position the preview pane either below the message list or beside it; you can choose to display or hide the message header; or you can hide the preview pane entirely.
On the View menu, click Layout.
In the Preview Pane area, select the options you want and then click OK
