I had following two partitions:
c: system (20 gb)
d: data (65 gb)
I created two partitions (g, h) and then after found that i couldn't use neither so i merged them after word.
Process 1: create partition g and h on d.
Make partitions - finished. , later i found i had to remove g, h.
Process 2: merged partition g and h into d.
Now some of my files are deleted by windows. (this happened i think in "chkdsk" command what runs on win start up).
I got also complain that some error on partition table.
The win on C work normally, but how do i retrieve the deleted data. I have tried several recovery programs, on some of the programs i found folder correct folder structure that i was missing, but files are not there..
These were the files that i used often, does Win store them in a special place?
Maybe i have to fix my partition table problem first, ? will this help to get the files?
Plz help.

Your ONLY chance is trying using TESTDISK to recover the partition tables.
But most probably the amount of damage already caused is too much.
So maybe you can try using PHOTOREC to try and recover some files.

Alternatively, if you are willing to pay for shareware, try Power Data Recovery
However, any data below 640k can be recovered free, according to their lic stated on their website.

Thank you for the response. I have now used the TestDisk to correct the partition table error.
Regarding recovery i think i will also try GetDataBack for NTFS. Tried it and it has amazing search functionality.

the very best choice: GetDataBack for NTFS
brings back EVERYTHING, that hasn't been overwritten meanwhile...
even files from installations you can't remember anymore
I swear!
