Hiya!
Im working on setting upp WDS 2008 and a custom Windows XP image and are having a few issues.
Our firm is mid size, 100 pc's or so, bulks of about 20 same model. So iwe extracted the drivers from all (ending upp with a list of 420 signatures (with spdrvscn.exe found @ vernalex.com), all drivers are extracted with a driver extraction tool).
As iwe keept on building upon the same image now a few times, is there any way i can clear the driver "database" on the mashine. Iwe read somewhere its stored inn the registry?
Because now i keep gettting "file not found" while running the Mini-Setup. But file exists, just moved to a new folder. (had to remake the folder structure)

Solved.
Cleared:
And ran the driver tool again so it added all the "new" drivers.
And mapped this:
to its correct path.
Cleared:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\DevicePath
And ran the driver tool again so it added all the "new" drivers.
And mapped this:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SourcePath
to its correct path.
