But during xp instal I get BSOD reffering to setupdd.sys.

Have tried to slipstream sevral times + new DVD's and tried it on Virtual Pc--> Same result!

This is likely not an HFSLIP issue... it's a bad RAM issue. (No, seriously!)
Try running memtest, or swapping out modules and trying new ones.

if it also crashes in a VM, then it's NOT a RAM issue...

I'm looking at your list against my list

May I suggest

directx_jun2008_redist.exe to be located at HFSVCPACK
WindowsXP-KB941569-x86-NOR.exe to be located at HFSVCPACK_SW1

There may be some truth about bad ram but I'm not expert in this :P

Can also try setting your virtual PC ram above 128mb

I dun know what is the real problem but just for info

I have in my HFTOOLS folder (U have none):
7za.exe
boot.bin <----- U may be missing this
cWnd.exe
EXTRACT.EXE
HFANSWER.INI
mkisofs.exe <----- possibly this
modifyPE.exe

and my HFCABS folder has only 1 file: wbemoc.cab whereas u have 5 files.
Maybe some members can advice too

Realised directx_jun2008_redist.exe can be included in HF (Mine was a reworked version in silent exe downloaded long ago, so I have placed in HFSVCPACK)

Since there is no driver to slipstream, u can reduce HFSLIP runtime from 12 min to about 7 min by selecting option D, E or F (Better still, set your driver.cab option using HFANSWER.INI). I had mine running option F (with some driver files) and took me about 8 mins to complete running HFSLIP

Hey

I thougt that the "Windows XP SP3 updates for use with HFSLIP" was a complete list...?
I dont use Hfslip to create an image.....I use CDIMAGE.EXE to do that. :P

Well, try putting a SP2 (two) setupdd.sys into SOURCESS\i386 and see if that works in your VM...?
Worth a shot.
