after running nlite and removing some components it appears some files are missing from my win xp directory...
maybe i have done someting wrong, not sure why... :P
my question is will i be able to boot and run a setup this way or not and is there a way to fix this?

You have removed "Manual install and upgrade"

YES it will still boot and install from cd....

good thing it will still work that way...

anyway, i wanted to strip down my xp as hard as i could (with my limited knowledge) so that my xp runs faster :)

not that i really have a slow machine but i want to get rid of all possible crap from windows that i will never need...

is there any good tutorial where one can found out what components can be safely removed without causing any problems?

i mean some stuff is obvious but others isnt so...
