rehbar
Hello, allI disabled ACPI on my PC, and switched it to a standard PC. I enabled APM in my bios, but there's not APM tab in XP, and I cannot enable the NT Apm/Legacy Support Node. Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling xp?Plz tell me command or registry settings. Edited November 3, 2008 by rehbar

Mijzelf
Well, maybe. There is an option for W2000, but I don't know if it will work for XP. Have a look here, and read '3.10.2.4 Windows 2000 shutdown'
