How to Restore Recycle Bin?

I was a littel quick so i deleted Recycle Bin how can i do get back?

You should be able to do it the same way as in XP or Vista. When you go to Personalize, there is a link on the left that says 'Change Desktop Icons'. Then you can check the box like in XP. Here is a picture of these menus here:

OK you mean you moved the Recycle Bin and did not actually delete it?

try make new shortcut. Put path to be the following:

explorer.exe ::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

Test putting that line in your run box first to make sure it opens the recycle bin.

Recycle the Recycle Bin that weird

u could take access to recyclce bin folder in c:\ and find ur user there

reginize it by files u deleted

and just make a short cut to ur desktop

This is correct. When you "delete" the recycle bin it's only deleting the shortcut, it clearly states how to get it back to the desktop via Personalization.

You say you moved it to another folder? This is impossible on Server 2008, and I assume for Vista aswell. It only allows you to Creat a Shortcut when you drag the Recycle Bin with the right mouse button.

Am I wrong? Either i've missed something, or you've failed to explain correctly, or your install is seriously corrupt.

I know this is an old thread, but jeez - it'd be nice if the OP [original poster] actually tells us if they did or didn't fix it... I'll try not to revive old threads like this again

2008 and Vista are really the same base product. The functions of the recycle bin are likely exactly the same.
