Hi Experts,

I am facing a strange problem in my Vista laptop.

Every time I connect something to my USB port, I get Safely Remove Hardware Icon on the task bar which is quite normal. When I click and select the device, it says 'device can now safely be removed' which is also normal. But the problem is, it is not actually deactivating the device.

If I try the same on my other laptop everything is working fine. It is deactivating the device and the light on the USB device goes off.

Is this some problem with the hardware/USB (or) something missing/deactived in my Vista installation? Any help from the experts?

Thanks & Regards
Chandu
