Pricewatch is the place to go.

Though I have found crucial to be nice, because they offer namebrand RAM, and not the generic cheap ram from pricewatch. Plus they have free shipping, but if you want dirt cheap, go with pricewatch or ebay.

Go with Crucial.com....they are cheap and they are also good. Don't get caught with some cheap memory just because you wanted to save $3 or $4.

...look for the best deal you can find on GOOD (Crucial) memory. Look through the boards here and you will find more issues caused by crappy RAM than most other HW.

barnettrp is right. I dont ever cut corners for anything cheap nor do i go with what people say. I do alot of research and go off of benchmarks. Cruical is ok but would never use anything but mushkin in my systems. No reason to spend a few bucks cheaper for crap when you can have the best.

Im goin with 512MB Mushkin BASIC PC2100 i think its onyl $122 altho its basic and not cooled n s***, but my whole system will be cooled allot around mainboard so I dont think $169 for "high performance RAM" will be needed.
