Few clients get this is error when trying to connect using remote desktop on windows xp professional
"The remote session was disconnected because there are no Terminal Server client access licensed available for this computer."
The terminal server 2003 logs event 1028
"The terminal server client COMPUTER has been disconnected because its license could not be renewed. The license server SERVER was contacted to get Windows Server 2003 - Terminal Server Per Device CAL Token. license for this client."
When i open the terminal services licensing windows i can see that i have a total of 200 ts per device cals(school aggreement)
Available = 61 and Issued =139
What i have tried is restarting the license server, the terminal server
Change the registry PolicyAc=2 for per device mode..
Changing the license discovery mode..

Thanks, deleting the sub keys undir mslicensing in the registry worked..

This will work short term but the problem will be back. I have had this problem in the past but only on our test servers so just get the users (10) to delete this key.
