I recently installed windows on a SATA drive, it was previously on one of my IDE drives, i then formatted the IDE so as not to create a conflict upon booting it up. But in the process it did cause a problem, now i have to F8 into boot menu after post to get it to boot to my SATA drive where windows is installed, its not showing a 2nd windows install, just wont boot to the SATA.
I suspect there maybe still a MBR on the IDE where windows was, and is is tryin to boot it, but comes up a configuration error and asks me to check my drive jumpers etc, but i know they are correct(i have checked them several times!).
Can anyone shed some light here please?
