I have a Nvidia GF 6800 GT card (AGP).
The problem: Video clips (movies/etc) played on monitor, do not show on TV. TV is set to clone the monitor.
The other parts of the screen show OK, e.g. window borders and other areas, menus/etc. But the video itself shows as black.
When not playing video, all shows OK.
(Note that the screen colors appear OK, i.e. this is NOT a black & white problem.)
Any ideas how to fix? I think using TVTool may help, but I'm getting trouble setting it up. I had to do a System Restore due to lost signal on both TV and PC...
I tried several different video players, including KMPlayer, WMP, and VLC - all show video as black on the TV.
TV is analog, 29" Sony CRT TV.

It depends on what video renderer you use (overlay, VMR, etc), and which between the monitor and your TV is set as the primary display.
