KB2141007 includes a file named inetcomm.dll.

MHTML includes nothing, except for update_SP3QFE.inf

HFSLIP log:

WindowsXP-KB2141007-x86-ESN.exe

TEMP\inetcomm.dll

1 archivos copiados

WindowsXP-KB2508272-x86-ESN.exe

0 archivos copiados

archivos copiados equal to copied files.

Both updates are verified, extracted by hand using /x switch.

Do you looked inside of KB2508272 or inside of KB2503658 (MS11-026: MHTML)?

I found a newer inetcomm.dll in KB2503658

I did wrong looking at the wrong hotfix.

Another update integration Bug:

KB2510531 integration fails

...

What kind of problem do you noticed?

Sorry, my bad, never mind.

I removed KB976662 only from the table but from HF folder.

Hi Maxfutur,

thx for your response! :)

Do you plan to make a test-installation and check that installation against Windows-Update? I'm not sure when I can do it. If you do that, would you tell me the result? It will help to ensure that all is correct.

Test-installation successfull.

Not problems at all.

My updated list (only lastest updates), based upon your updatelist is started a couple monts ago is in progress with irect links for spanish here:

http://maxfutur.wordpress.com/9-2/

Still needs "polishing" but i think it works already, Adobe Flash is updated for english (is the link you posted), have to upload for spanish screens when flash ask for updating. What 2 characters do.

Semi-translated (some day is going to be done yet), for personal purposes but i think anybody else can use it. Updates are numerated by files not by MS#

Modified and Updated before i could see yours, wich become to be very helpfull look at your work and compare.

Thx Maxfutur!

A small notice to KB2492386: KB2492386 replaces KB955759.

This causes the following correction: KB955759 KB2492386 + KB979687 + KB2259922 replace KB923561

--- EDIT ---

MSRT 3.18 was also re-released. Can anybody check if the current download of MSRT 3.18 is different to the original download of MSRT 3.18? I don't have any downloads of MSRT but if both versions (with the number 3.18) are different I have to modify my algorithm in the file-checker.

A small notice to KB2492386: KB2492386 replaces KB955759.

And 2388210, at least on Server2003, but I think also on XP. Sure looks like a more direct replacement to me.

*Edit: yes, there is a Update replacement information section in the article that needs to be clicked on.

@#$%^!!! Same Engine, different Definitions (apparently)! Update didn't show last week (dated 18th) but NOW shows up...

 So I go ahead and download/install and the MSE2.0 definitions show updated as well??? (and I had manually set it to only update once a week). This MS AV/AntiMalware is a BEAR to "control"!!! Testing Unattended with this junk is getting out of hand! Better off just blocking all of it (somehow) and installing "something else"...

Thanks for the info

I wonder if it is as follows: KB2492386 replaces KB955759.

"This causes the following correction: KB2492386 + KB979687 + KB2259922 replace KB923561"

HFSLIP Changelog shows: KB2485663 (MS11-033: WordPad Text Converters) replaces KB2259922 (MS10-067: WordPad Text Converters)

Should be:

"This causes the following correction: KB2492386 + KB979687 + KB2485663 replace KB923561"

HFSLIP Update List needs correction at MS09-2010, make sure tu add the same (fixed) note when adding KB2492386.

I think that your pointing out, is for XP x64 only.

As i'm not very sure, can you make sure about it?

I use subversion to track any changes in my HFSLIP source. The Malicious Software Removal Tool was updated from 3.18.4803.0 to 3.18.4804.0 as an out of bound security update.

@submix8c, yesterday I submitted a few suspicous files which I found on my system which MSE failed to detect. Today those signatures have already been added to their virus database :hello:
