KB2141007 includes a file named inetcomm.dll.

MHTML includes nothing, except for update_SP3QFE.inf

HFSLIP log:

WindowsXP-KB2141007-x86-ESN.exe

TEMP\inetcomm.dll

1 archivos copiados

WindowsXP-KB2508272-x86-ESN.exe

0 archivos copiados

archivos copiados equal to copied files.

Both updates are verified, extracted by hand using /x switch.

Do you looked inside of KB2508272 or inside of KB2503658 (MS11-026: MHTML)?

I found a newer inetcomm.dll in KB2503658

Hi Maxfutur,

thx for your response! :)

Do you plan to make a test-installation and check that installation against Windows-Update? I'm not sure when I can do it. If you do that, would you tell me the result? It will help to ensure that all is correct.

Test-installation successfull.

Not problems at all.

My updated list (only lastest updates), based upon your updatelist is started a couple monts ago is in progress with irect links for spanish here:

http://maxfutur.wordpress.com/9-2/

Still needs "polishing" but i think it works already, Adobe Flash is updated for english (is the link you posted), have to upload for spanish screens when flash ask for updating. What 2 characters do.

Semi-translated (some day is going to be done yet), for personal purposes but i think anybody else can use it. Updates are numerated by files not by MS#

Modified and Updated before i could see yours, wich become to be very helpfull look at your work and compare.

The new batches for Batch Downloading are up.

The download batches and hotfix list are made with a spreadsheet and for the last few weeks I've been working on adding a bit more automation and error-checking to it, so hopefully these kind of bugs won't appear in future :)

Thx Maxfutur!

A small notice to KB2492386: KB2492386 replaces KB955759.

This causes the following correction: KB955759 KB2492386 + KB979687 + KB2259922 replace KB923561

--- EDIT ---

MSRT 3.18 was also re-released. Can anybody check if the current download of MSRT 3.18 is different to the original download of MSRT 3.18? I don't have any downloads of MSRT but if both versions (with the number 3.18) are different I have to modify my algorithm in the file-checker.

A small notice to KB2492386: KB2492386 replaces KB955759.

And 2388210, at least on Server2003, but I think also on XP. Sure looks like a more direct replacement to me.

*Edit: yes, there is a Update replacement information section in the article that needs to be clicked on.

@#$%^!!! Same Engine, different Definitions (apparently)! Update didn't show last week (dated 18th) but NOW shows up...

 So I go ahead and download/install and the MSE2.0 definitions show updated as well??? (and I had manually set it to only update once a week). This MS AV/AntiMalware is a BEAR to "control"!!! Testing Unattended with this junk is getting out of hand! Better off just blocking all of it (somehow) and installing "something else"...

Thanks for the info

I wonder if it is as follows: KB2492386 replaces KB955759.

"This causes the following correction: KB2492386 + KB979687 + KB2259922 replace KB923561"

HFSLIP Changelog shows: KB2485663 (MS11-033: WordPad Text Converters) replaces KB2259922 (MS10-067: WordPad Text Converters)

Should be:

"This causes the following correction: KB2492386 + KB979687 + KB2485663 replace KB923561"

HFSLIP Update List needs correction at MS09-2010, make sure tu add the same (fixed) note when adding KB2492386.

I think that your pointing out, is for XP x64 only.

As i'm not very sure, can you make sure about it?

I use subversion to track any changes in my HFSLIP source. The Malicious Software Removal Tool was updated from 3.18.4803.0 to 3.18.4804.0 as an out of bound security update.

@submix8c, yesterday I submitted a few suspicous files which I found on my system which MSE failed to detect. Today those signatures have already been added to their virus database :hello:

Oh.. good hint!!! :) I will fix the list (and also the file-checker-xp-extension which has this inside - or is this already correct? I will see...) THX!!!!

There is no remark for KB2492386 replacing KB955759:

A small notice to KB2492386: KB2492386 replaces KB955759.

To let others know that KB955759 is not needed when KB2492386 exists in HF folder.

I do not use filechecker, is it right and shows no problems when KB955759 doesn't exists?

The file-checker is doing its job correctly. :)

But you're right, I should notice also in the list, not only in the change-log of the list. THX!!! :thumbup

New dowload batches are up. If you want the new installer for DirectX 9.0c then you need to open up the filelist and uncomment it. The EPA Enable below can be gotten here.

Changelog :-

Added : [EPA Enable] KB968389 (regfile which is needed to enable EPA)

Replaced : [indeo Codec] KB955759 replaced by KB2492386 (this was missed from April's Patch Tuesday)

Updated : [Adobe Flash] Updated to v10.2.159.1

Misc: Batch Downloading - Reported as not working, so wget has been discarded and a more reliable method is now used

Misc: Batch Downloading - Now uses aria2 to do parallel downloading of up to 8 files simultaneously using direct links

Misc: Batch Downloading - Now displays a summary of each download session at the end

Misc: Batch Downloading - All files in the filelists are labelled for easier searching

Misc: Batch Downloading - In future it should be possible to add/remove updates from the filelist via scripting

Misc: Batch Downloading - Fixed : KB958655 (MSI 4.5) wasn't downloaded (this affected the Regular and Extra batches)

Misc: Batch Downloading - Fixed : there was a regression where the batch didn't change to the HFSLIP root directory

Misc: Batch Downloading - Fixed : problems echoing text caused the batch to fail

Misc: Batch Downloading - Fixed : links for manual downloads are now echoed properly

Misc: Batch Downloading - Fixed : benign error messages about files not existing are now suppressed

Misc: Batch Downloading - KB976002 (Browser Choice for EU) gets correctly named if you already have it

Misc: Batch Downloading - Added warning about uncommenting the 'new' DirectX 9.0c

Courtesy of tomasz86, there's now a Polish language version of the HFSLIP Windows 2000 updates page in addition to the English updates page, listing and linking to updates for Polish language systems. Links to unofficial updates for Polish systems are not yet active, but hopefully they will follow in time. Work is continuing to translate any existing English to Polish.
