Likewise, has anyone tried Msvbvm60.dll 6.0.98.32 with Windows 2000? Since this is a Windows 7-only update, my suspicion is that it won't work...

ricktendo64 has posted about Msvbvm60.dll in a thread for win xp.
I think that it could work in xp, sincerely dont know in win2k.

- Added version 6 of 2508429 (unofficial). Replaces all previous versions (thanks WildBill). Please note: this update requires 2393802 (unofficial).
- Added 2476490 (unofficial) (thanks WildBill).
- Added 829395 (thanks PROBLEMCHYLD).

Other Changes

- Updated the notes for 884872. This update is problematic (thanks tomasz86). As a workaround, install it manually (don't slipstream it), after the update has been extracted, and a number of files from it replaced with newer ones. Please read the notes for more.
- Updated the notes for 2160329, 2296011, 2436673 and 2286198 to make clear why these updates have not (yet) been moved to the Obsolete List.
