what's the path where you copied the Vista DVD to? Perhaps the path is too long? Or do you use a Recovery DVD?

at first I tried to put it in D:\Vista
then I moved it to C:\Vista

both times it didn`t work...
even I`ve reinstalled vLite before moving the folder to C partition.

so?

Which DVD type do you use? A clean MS DVD (ISO) or a recovery DVD?

yup an ISO.
I`ve extracted the files by powerISO, and so now the contents are in C:\Vista.
the files in this directory (C:\vista\) are:
boot
efi
sources
support
upgrade
autorun.inf
bootmgr
bootmgr.efi
setup.exe

do you see a files named "install.wim" inside the sources folder?

it's inside the "sources" folder as I already said.

Please copy the 32bit WIMGAPI.dll from the WAIK installation folder to the vLite installtion folder and try again.
