working with my first effort wiht nlight, and need some help.

all the drivers i need to install for my dell laptop are in HUGE installation bundles. i want to streamline them into my installation disk, but i'm afraid of losing lots of functionality if i use only the .inf file. for example, the driver pack for my ALPS pointing-device is almost 5 megs and has 41 different files in it. i think it's because most include utilities along with the actual driver. would i be better off putting the "setup.exe" to be run after installation?

Ye i do that. For my sound card. I do integrate the sound driver too, but i might as well not integrate it since i run the "setup.exe" as u say, anyway.

thanks for the reply. :) i kind of figured that the streamlining of drivers was going to be limited to simple .inf hardware drivers... and nothing needing extra programs for complete functionality.
