I got GigaByte EP35-DS4 board and whenever I try to use graphic card in the upper x16 slot it mostly doesn't work. Symptoms - power on, weird quick errorneous beep and nothing on the screen (the PC keeps on booting though, I THINK). Sometimes (usually not) it helps to hard reset the PC or take the card out and back in.
The lower slot works just fine.
Anyone got any idea why is it so?

honestly sounds like a bad slot...
maybe buy a pci-e card from best buy and try it out to see if it works then return it (that is if you dont have another card laying around you can try out)
