Hi,

I am new to WPI.

I have downloaded 7.2.2, extracted files to WPI folder under windows CD root, and try to run WPI.hta. Then, I got these errors. Search through the forum and found only one guy with similar errors but was using 6.4. No solution over there.

Can anyone help me?

P/S: I clean out Nero 8, and do a few changes here and there, but still doesn't work. And I do not want to re-install my Windows.

OK coupla of standard questions.

IE 6, 7 or 8?

Is FireFox or any other browser set as defualt instead of IE?

DID you remove IE?

Nero8 Was ok so thats no biggie it is just if you have ever had nero7 installed.

I haven't seen that error on system, but have been asked about it. Visual Studio 2005 had this problem alot. Could even be youw swap file size, but not likely.

Take out your condig.js and useroptions.js files and see if it runs from desktop.

Don't have a real answer. Sorry.

I had Visual Studio 2005 installed with Office 2007 before. But it seems to be missing in programs list. So, no way to remove it. Will look for removal tool and see if that's the problem.

Thanks.

I have used the uninstall tool provided on Microsoft support site, but no instance of Visual Studio is found. So, I guess it was uninstalled. So, is there other possible solutions?

IE 7. Default is Firefox, but it makes no difference even if I set IE to default.

Will WPI run correctly from the desktop, or same problem?

Same problem. I will try to create a VM and see if it works in there. Let you know later.

Thanks.
