So far I was told to try the following but that didn't work

I opened a new window and accessed http://technet.microsoft.com/
Once it fully came up, I logged in with an account I have had for years.
And then used the 64 bit link from the second post.
https://www.microsof...c...w&LCID=1033
It displayed the error to come back the next business day. I kept hitting refresh.

I got my 64-bit key from https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/pr...us/default.aspx.

It works now.

Download doesn't work but I've already downloaded it from a direct link.

Edit: Don't waste time trying to figure what the keys are. It seems there are only a total of 5 or 6 keys that activates all. Go over to mydigitallife.info to get the list of these keys.

guys, just go to microsoft and get them, there is no point in trying to get them any other way when microsoft is giving them out for free on their own site.

I do not believe this list is entirely inclusive, although it's possible there was a release of new keys after the download deadline extension (perhaps to trace those that got ahold of the beta after the extension).

OK, I missed the small line "If you are a TechNet Plus subscriber, download the Windows 7 Beta software here."

thanks for pointing that out. :D

What do you mean it doesn't need keys now?
It doesn't even ask for one?

I believe you still have to activate it which requires a key. But you can install without a key and you have 3 days to activate.

You can test drive it will August, after which you'll have to install a new beta.

Did you mean 30? I can't recall how many I had when I first installed. I'm pretty sure it was 30.

I mean 3 days (three days) to activate a beta version.
