Browse Internet in WLAN mobile through laptop

I want to browse internet in WLAN supported mobile. I have a internet connection through wire in my Laptop. I don't have router that's why I want to use my Wi-Fi connection in laptop as AP (say router). So I wounder if I can do so?

Please is my thought is possible or i m just imaging this please let me know

What?

Are you saying that you want your laptop to act as an AP for other computers? Or that you can't get your laptop's wireless to work?

Thank You for reply and Sorry for my silly question, please respond me..

Actually i don't mean that i want to make my laptop to act as an AP, I just want to share Internet similar we do in desktop using two LAN card in which one lan card connected to Internet and when we share that net we can browse net from other computer connected to that computer.

So I just need to know If i apply similar rule in wi-fi will it work????
Or that's not possible?..
