Have tried to silently install Sygate Personal Firewall Pro using InstallRite and install goes well until system reboot. I get error that SMC.exe cannot be loaded because it canīt find SSSensor.dll. Anyone has installed this firewall silently?

Folks,
Have found the silent install switches in the Sticky Applications Switches post. I am doing an ISO installation at this moment and will give my verdict on the install. Will let you know if the registration works, as well.

You don't have to go through Windows Setup to see if your sygate installation went well. If you have another spare PC, or a working OS in VirtualPC/VMWare, then test your sygate installation from command prompt. It's easier and time-saving to troubleshoot.

Aaron,
Will give it a try. I am using VMware Workstation 4 and it has saved me much time, as well as CDs. I will try to run the app from within the ISO package, Iīm sure it will work. Will give you a firm on it once I am done. I am trying to get the app to register (was having problem, but I think I found the problem...was inputting reg info into the wrong HKEY.).....more to come.

Aaron,
Did the command prompt installation after making several tweaks to the pspf1.reg file and it registered and installed perfectly (no register now window).
However, I canīt get it to register during the install from the ISO........back to the drawing board.

Aaron,
Finally got this program to register. Placed .reg file in $OEM$ folder and ran the pspf1.reg file from the cmdlines.txt
My pspf1.reg file looks like this:
I guess when I ran it from the RunOnceEx.cmd, it was not registering the correct keys?
Donīt know. However, this works for me...time to burn the CD...thnx for the help

[COMMANDS] "RunOnceEx.cmd" "REGEDIT /S pspf1.reg"
My pspf1.reg file looks like this:
REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sygate Technologies, Inc.\Sygate Personal Firewall] "user_type"=dword:00000001 "Session"=dword:00000001 "user_name"="UserName" "company_name"="CompanyName" "position"="IT Dude" "phone_number"="urphonenum" "email"="username@companyname.com" "serial_number"="ursernumone" "serial_number2"="ursernumtwo" "register_code"="urregcode"
I guess when I ran it from the RunOnceEx.cmd, it was not registering the correct keys?
