Is there any way to install a program to a folder other than program files? I like to have a bit of organization with my computer and like to group similar programs. I want to both copy programs from the $Progs folder and install them to a folder other than Program Files.
ProgramFilesDir="C:\My Program Files"
You can change the default location of Program Files using this entry. Replace the drive letter and folder name as appropriate.
Add this under [Unattended] in winnt.sif

It depends on the install package that the software uses. Most should allow you to specify a location to install to (InstallShield ISS files definitely does)

What is if D: isnīt formatet? I formatet it with a batch script wenn XP is installed and logon the first time. Will XP install the standard programms on C:\Program Files and the other on D: when it is formatet or will it crash?
