I've got the budget to replace my AC'97 chip by a real sound card.

I'm not an audiophile, but I'd like something really good.

I've thaught about:
- AOpen AS-850
- Hercules Muse LT
- Hercules Muse XT
- SoundBlaster Live! 5.1
- SoundBlaster Audigy ES without firewire

Wich one will give me great sound, with my 4.1 speakers, without killing my wallet and no driver nightmare either (like GameHead...)

thanx

PS: I'm actually really tempted by the Audigy... :)

The Audigy gives 24 bit sound, that should be extremely pleasing to the ear
