Hey guys sorry if I'm in the wrong forum I can't find any forums that deal with exchange.
My question is regarding Microsoft Exchange 2003
I would like to know if there is a way for myself (the sys admin) to be able to see a user's incoming and outgoing mail without him knowing. Is there a way to monitor who's mail is coming and going in exchange without the user knowing?
Would really be helpful
thanks!

It's not possible with anything shipped with Exchange, but there are 3rd party tools that allow incoming mail to be copied to certain other mailboxes before delivery, for example.
Look into software from GFI for starters.

Do you have any names of programs that preform this function?
Do you have to pay for these 3rd party softwares?
scratch the "do you have to pay" comment I just checked GFI's site the only one that looks like what i need is GFI Mail Archiver but I don't know if that is what I want.
I found one called Mail Detective this one I believe does what I want it to do.
Are there any freeware ones?
