Hi,
I've tried to upgrade my Vista to Windows 7, after a quite long Compatibility Check & a relatively (impressive) short installation I got an error msg saying:
Windows 7 cannot be installed on this computer's hardware

so what was the Compatibility Check for...?

I'm not sure, but it should install anyway. I just installed the beta on my laptop I've had for years that is not even Vista capable! The **** thing is faster with Win7 beta than it was with XP Home on there. I've actually got Win7 installed on all my computers, lol. :thumbup
