Current Flash Player: 11.1.102.55

Download: SWFLASH.CAB (fixed archive / 2012-01-01)
Info: CPSID92359

Because of the control panel icon the change the Flash Player options offline, the CAB was more modified than the last updates (10.x). Not just the Flash-CPL was added to the CAB but also the INF was modified to add the new reg key which is necessary to let Windows load the control-panel icon.

You need HFSLIP beta J v6 to install the Flash Player control panel icon correctly.

Best Regards,
Mimo

2nd link (.rar) works, 1st (.cab) doesn't. tommyp, your site has the 1st link (.cab that doesn't work) listed.

Wish I had the .cab...

tain,

both of the links MimO posted in this thread are working as well as those two on tommyp's list - at least for me. Maybe it's worth a second attempt (from another computer)? Good luck

Sorry about that. I was quite sure it was down since I had tried it on 2 machines and on 4 browsers. Turned out the ActiveX filtering on my router was the problem. :blushing:

I'm always using IE8. But as far as I know, the firefox needs the "plugin-version" of the flash player instead of the ActiveX-version. You will find the plugin-version also in the first post. The CAB only contains the ActiveX-version.

It would be good if we had someone providing a dropbox link so that the url is the same from month to month.

Unfortunably I was not able to download from MegaUpload. However I tried updating the SWFLASH.CAB myself. So far I have replaced the "k"-revision files with the "l"-revision files, updated the swflash.inf and changed the version to 10.1.102.64. Is this the correct procedure?

If it is ok I can provide an alternative link to the SWFLASH.CAB file.

Maybe megaupload show up a message about "file disabled temporary" or so, try again in about 10 or 30 minutes, anyway, reuploaded to mediafire:

Here is a mirror to mediafire: http://www.mediafire...jeauy467smgwasm

Thanks, no problem downloading from mediafire. As I mentioned previously it is not difficult to update the SWFLASH.CAB yourself.

Thx, I will add this to my list.

Btw... Do you have a link to a kb-article (@adobe), a change-log or somewhat else?
