So i Bought a Gigabyte 4850 1gb Videocard (PCIE x16 2.0) The manual states that its minimal requirements are a 450 watt PSU w/32amps on the 12v rail. I currently own a Corsair 450VX with 33amps on the 12v rail is this enough to handle this powerhog? P.S my other components include a Gigabyte 790x MB, a AMD 6000+ 3.0ghz CPU and 4 gig corsair xms memory and 1 internal disk drive thx

In a word -- yes.

With a single 4850 1gb and an AMD 6000+, I reckon the Corsair CMPSU-450VX is a good (80 Plus rated) power supply that can easily power that system. I think Gigabyte are estimating way more than is needed, to allow for cheap inefficient PSUs.

80 PLUS verification report (Single page PDF file) can be downloaded from the CMPSU-450VX link at:http://www.80plus.org/manu/psu/psu_detail....d=25&type=2
