I have two XP x64 source files - from two different CDs, each containing WPI. When I double click one WPI.hta, I often get the wrong Options and/or configuration file(s). I looked in my Registry and I find a WPI key (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WPI) with a number of values including ConfigFile and OptionsFile. These are in conflict at the present. How can I prevent this problem? Can I delete this entire key or certain values? How do I prevent this problem from reoccurring.? Thanks, John.

I currently have this in my execute after:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WPI]

Future versions of WPI will clean themselves up better.

Kelsenellenelvian, thanks much. I added a Reg Delete for the key at the beginning of the batch file I use to run WPI and it works fine. John.

WPI should have been cleaning up after itself for a long time now. BUT, if you have a window border and click the X close gagdet, WPI is not notified to quit and does not clear reg entries. You have to click the actual WPI close buttons.
