HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THATS WHAT I SAY!
Try it, then try Avast! You wont go back. And there are way to many reasons to type. You'll see, and it's free.

Esets NOD32 v.3.0 is the best one. Its not free but i think this as the best AV, and many other people say the same as well. Very low on system resource and top protection

AVG isn't the best out there. Antivir (free-av.com) is the bomb. i have had clients come into my shop with avg 8 free (and pro) and ive scanend with it and found nothing. took it off, installed Antivir and the virus warnings came flooding in. i would not recomend avg to a soul.

They're all the same. Some you pay for some you don't.

Besides the fact that, as already pointed out, this is a 6 years old thread about AVG 6.0
Or at least you have no guarantee that the (already loaded) hypothetical virus may not affect the installation or the working of the antivirus you are installing.
The correct procedure would be that of scanning the drive(s) OFFLINE, using a PE bootdisk or slaving the drive to a working PC.
