You can use cmdlines.txt to import your RunOnceEx entries, it works with or without winnt.sif :)

oh . i think i am understanding just now. what do i do . keep both the start.cmd and also the RunOnceEx.cmd . or keep just one thing.

ok let me tell it clearly.

i have made a start.cmd to install adobe Reader 6, Windows media player 9 and direct x 9.0b. i also made a RunOnceEx.cmd file to install adobe reader 6, and windows media player9.

now i removed the start.cmd from the winnt.sif file and ran the installation. now when everything is installed i got only adobe reader 6.

can u tell me what can i do for installing the directx 9b and windows media player 9.

AND AARON, U HAVE A GREAT AVATAR. A DANCING BEAN. LOOKS GREAT.

Using a Command Prompt window, or the menu that RunOnceEx makes is more of a user preference of which he/she likes better. Either way should be able to run anything.

For DirectX 9 and WMP9, it depends on what package you use... the OPK or the ones downloadable from MS?

example for OPK:
REG ADD %KEY%\005 /VE /D "DirectX 9.0b" /f
REG ADD %KEY%\005 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\install\DX9NTopk.exe" /f

REG ADD %KEY%\006 /VE /D "Windows Media Player 9 and Movie Maker 2" /f
REG ADD %KEY%\006 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\install\WMP9_MM2_ENU.exe" /f
