I have run your Win98SE2ME and loved it, now is there any ideas out there about doing a combo of ME and XP?

I don't think it is possible because they have different structure.
Windows XP is NT based.
While windows 98 is dos based.
You can simply use kernel ex 4.0 rc2

Most XP files compatible with 98/98SE/ME are installed by 98MP10:
http://www.mdgx.com/wmp.htm#98MP10
Others are scattered around these pages [called "Unofficial Fixes"], each has a specific purpose:
http://www.mdgx.com/web.htm
http://www.mdgx.com/add.htm
http://www.mdgx.com/dx.htm
http://www.mdgx.com/ietoy.htm
http://www.mdgx.com/wmp.htm
Some of us here at MSFN are usually on the lookout for such files, and if we do find any, we test them and then post here the ones that work properly with 95/98/ME.
This page should give you some info on such files:
