I agree, Windows Me thumbnailer is not good...
More than a couple of screens of thumbnails and it would tend to crash Explorer.
In comparison, Tihiy's GDI thumbnails ROCK!

RP9 surpasses RP7 with the exeption of some of these intergrations. (Installing 98tome does not intergrate all that was in RP7...)

So far, from what I recall, a different version of user32.dll (the rp7 one) is required to use the shutdown.exe in tandem with the shutdown option in the menu which I believe was not compatible at all with RP9. However, the HI-Res startup logo should work without hitches.

It's not so hard to replace shutdown (with ME shell), just one small DLL is required.
I'll make it for RP10. But you must help me with beta testing if you want me to succeed.

I can't wait.
If you do make the dll change in the next RP then how about basing it on RP config. What I mean is if you select XP theme then the XP shutdown dialog shows. If you select Vista a Vista one shows. And finaly if you choose classic then no dll is replaced (although there are 2 in the classic theme, ME's box and 98's box, difference being one uses drop box and other uses option buttons.)
This idea would also go in hand with RP9's motto of being modualr so you can choose what extra features you want. Id have em all.

WindowBlinds skins may have XP shutdown skinned, but does it really matter?
If there would be new shutdown replacement, then it have to be useful.

I've sent a PM to Tihiy, but if somebody else has the tools and can throw them up online someplace it would be appreciated.
Edit: He fixed them - tossed them on Rapidshare for me/us.

Olá,
Is there a newer link for this patched sysmon app? Rapidshare says the file's been deleted.
