Have you checked this thread:

I explain how to modify TXTSETUP.SIF to add new drivers. Despite the fact that you may not need these files to get Windows to recognize your drives, this method should install your drivers perfectly.
Ok, I just checked the files that Shark posted. They looks OK but it appears that the lines he added to TXTSTUP.SIF are going to copy VIARAID.SYS to \Windows\System32 already.
In that case you'll simply need to compress VIARAID.SYS and IaStor.SYS and copy them to the i386 folder. The link above should give you more details.

Raskin,
I checked the link to the tread on how to modify TCTSETUP.SIF and it gave me some more insight but also added more confusion..
. Im lost as to how to determine exactly what infor to add to the line for my specific drivers. I am only running IDE HD on the Via raid. I am not using the Intel Raid for the SATA.
Also i managed to extract the Inf and CAT files for the chipset. However when extacted I have 7 folders labeled from ich2 - ich5 and also some such as ich2-m. Some of these folder contain the same inf files. Of these folders which one or ones do i need my inf and cat files from. (P4P800 Deluxe - 865 chipset I think)
To remove some confusion.... I am trying to learn how to install both the Via raid and then the chipset drivers. I think once I understand this i can then apply it to all others such as Detonators, Lan, Monitor, ect.
Lastly the makcab utility? Is that in windows or do i need to DL it from somewhere? And do the files need to be compressed or will it be ok to put them in I386 as is.
Thanks again for the help.

Ok i just followed Sharks post on page 1 of this thread for the Raid only I left out the intel raid drivers and didnt ad the intel raid lines to the HIVESYS.INF and TXTSETUP.SIF files because I am not using the intel raid.
Is this correct or do i still need the intel raid because it somehow works in conjuntion with the via?
Also what about .dll, ect files for other devices such as lan, display, ect. do those need to go somewhere on the unattened cd or just the inf and sys?
Does anyone have a shot of what files are needed for Nvidia 5950 also? There a quite a few files and 2 cab files that I cannot figure out how to extract.

For the chipset drivers your best bet is to just ALL extracted INF and CAT files. Copy the INF files to $OEM$\$$\INF and copy the INF and CAT files to a directory specified in OEMPnpDriversPath in Winnt.sif. Your computer won't need all of the files...just do it to be safe.
To add the Via raid driver you can use my example (the other thread) as a model. Simply replace either iaStor.sys or Si3114r.sys with the appropriate .sys file from your extracted Via raid set. It looks like that would be viaraid.sys. Compress this file using makecab.exe (comes with Windows) and copy it to your i386 folder. Then make the changes to txtsetup.sif as instructed by shark.
As for the other drivers, they need to go in your OEMPnpDriversPath folders.
