My first try - seemed to be going so well

Used a W2K Pro W/S to build W2K Server Slipstreamed SP4 and over 100 hotfixes etc Added W2K nVidea RAID/ SAT Textmode and PnP drivers Wrote an ISO Booted up

After NOT pressing F6 get message "Insert SP4 CD into Drive A". No way forward from here - might as well be bsd

What went wrong !!

Note - built the software on an external USB hard drive. Probably not relevant!

Thanks for any help.

You missed the CD ident files...

CDROM_IP.5 <--- Has w2k written inside it. Might be CDROM_IS.5 since your are on Server version.
CDROM_NT.5 <--- Has w2k written inside it
CDROMSP4.TST <--- Blank

The go at the root of your CD.

esau, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John.

Particular thanks to Kelsenellenelvian. :hello:

I added the files, recreated the CD and went on to load the server with all the fixes and updates already there. :thumbup

This is a great product.

Is there anywhere I can make a contribution (by Paypal etc) ?

PS This is for home. We have a PC each and backup and sharing is getting complicated. A server solves.

I see no donation place for nLite any more.

You could donate to MSFN and become a sponsor though :D
