I want to change the drive label used in WinPE.... it makes the default drive letter X: with a label of Boot can i change this setting?

I can't find anything specific, it seems Diskpart can't rename a volume. You might have to do this by editing the BCD for the ramdisk.

Why do you want to change the label of the volume? What does it affect?

Boot is such a blah label.... I want to put something unique.
