Daemon Tools is a great app but I can't get it to do a silent install without having to check the stupid box that comes up during install. Anybody have a switch or workaround that works?

Run the daemon344.exe klick install
then Navigate to %windir%\Downloaded Installations\DAEMON Tools 3.44
there you have the Msi file.. use regular switches...

as found in forum..

Edit: Just foundout. that the /Reboot=Suppress does not work ..
 :)

Just tried it here too, the install went perfect, no problems at all... this is how i used it... :)

ECHO.
ECHO Installing DAEMON Tools V3.44
ECHO Please wait...
start /wait %CDDRIVE%\OEM\install\Applications\DAEMON_Tools\daemon.msi Reboot=ReallySuppress /qn
MOVE "%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\DAEMON Tools.lnk" "%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs"

also, for those interested i found an old version of the Plug-In "awxDTools R.0.9" that adds shell extensions to the right click menu so one can directly mount an image from explorer. HERE'S a link to the download page. and the switch to silently install is simply" /S" (without quotes and using upper case "S" of course)

The current version of that addon (1.0.3.437) is available on the Daemon Tools homepage, but i can't get it to silently install without having conformation boxes asking to click OK, then it asks me to log off and back on, so using that old version is a simple solution for now...

But if anyone knows how to silent install the latest version "awxDTools 1.0.3.437 then please share with me
