I'm wondering what folders I'd need to copy from the extracted drivers only pack to place into the $OEM$\$1\drivers folder for the OEMPnPDrivers to install...

I've copied the contents of the drivers folder from the extracted installation pack, but it didn't appear to work. Is it the contents of the WIN2K_XP folder that I need to copy?

Cheers!

This also intrigues me, what with me also being a SB Live! user and all. Any solutions?

you have the path pointing to the folder with teh XP INF inside and not the base folder right?

I have an Audigy, and i just point it to the Win2k_XP folder with the actual drivers in it, and then i run the Driver setup just in case. lol.

I have the contents of the WIN2k_XP folder in the $OEM$\$1\drivers\003_sound directory in my CD.

According to Aaron, its almost impossible to install SoundBlaster drivers this way (which sucks wang).

As far as I can remember, Creative also has a directory called "commlang" with more required drivers. I assume that means "common language" or drivers that are not language dependent. I have installed Live and Audigy drivers several times and setup has asked for drivers in the commlang folder.

I think I have an Sound Blaster Live! Soundcard. Not sure because I used WinDriver Ghost to extract my card drivers before reinstalling...

But when I do an unattended xp, i put in "\$OEM$\$1\drivers\sound" those files:
a3d.dll
ctljystk.cat
ctljystk.inf
ctljystk.pnf
eapci2m.ecw
infcache.1
live.bmp
live.ico
p16x2k.cat
p16x2k.inf
p16x2k.pnf
p16x.dll
p16x.sys
p16xres.dll

Here is the first lines of p16x2k.inf:
; Creative SB Live! Series INF file
;
; Feature : Enhanced (WDM)
; Language : English
;
; Date : 30 Aug 2002
; Revision : 1.00.023
;
; Copyright 1995-2002, Creative Technology Ltd.

In winnt.sif I got:
OemPnPDriversPath="drivers\sound"

hope this could help...
