After an have-to-do-reinstall (my throw my ibm-hdds out of the window.... :) ) i noticed that none of my drivers are auto-installed.

lets start with audiodriver - i have unzipped the driver, so i got:

root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\68
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\74
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\DATA.TAG
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\data1.cab
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\data1.hdr
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\lang.dat
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\layout.bin
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\os.dat
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\Setup.exe
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\SETUP.INI
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\setup.ins
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\SETUP.ISS
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\setup.lid
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\viaudio.INI
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\VIAUDIO.REV
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\WDM
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\_inst32i.ex_
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\_ISDel.exe
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\_Setup.dll
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\_sys1.cab
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\_sys1.hdr
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\_user1.cab
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\_user1.hdr
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\68\WINNT40
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\68\WINNT40\OEMSETUP.INF
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\68\WINNT40\VIAMIDI.DLL
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\68\WINNT40\VIAUDIO.DLL
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\68\WINNT40\VIAUDIO.SYS
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\74\WINNT40
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\74\WINNT40\OEMSETUP.INF
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\74\WINNT40\VIAUDIO.DLL
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\74\WINNT40\VIAUDIO.SYS
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\WDM\A3d.dll
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\WDM\crlds3d.dll
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\WDM\viacomp.inf
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\WDM\viaudios.cat
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\WDM\viaudios.inf
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\WDM\viaudios.sys
root\$OEM$\$1\TREIBER\VIA\Audio\WDM\VIAUDOEM.INF

and the corresponding entries in winnt.sif are:

[Unattended]
...
    DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore
OemPnPDriversPath="Treiber\Vigor510;TREIBER\VIA\Audio;TREIBER\VIA\Audio\WDM;TREIBER\VIA\Audio\68\winnt40;TREIBER\VIA\Audio\74\winnt40"
...

So the all folders are included. But no driver is installed... what's wrong?

second thing: i'll noticed that i forgot to install the hpt-drivers, how to do that? i know there was an thread, but with my anger i'm unable to find it.... want to add them to textmode-setup to install onto raid without floppies...

btw, i rember sth about nvidia-gfx-drivers cannot be installed in OemPnPDriversPath because if winows find sth. in his .cabs it doesnt look in oempath. is that correct?

thx in advance...

Try just putting the wdm folder on your pnpoemdriverspath line. I had a situation once, when setup was confused whether to install a winnt4 or xp driver and that seems like a similar situation to yours ;-)

Dump all audio drivers to one folder and point to it with winnt.sif
