Our company developed an automation software (simulate moulse clicks and keystroke input), it may also be used to automate game playing, but will it be considered as game tools which should be allowed in game playing, or it will be considered as cheap software which should not allowed in game playing.

This software is currently maketing as tools to help automate computer tasks, to improve producitity, but it may also be used to help game play. But we are wondering whether we should go towards that direction.

Such programs are often known as bots. They are mostly common in MMORPG and other RPGs like Diablo II. A lot of people use AutoIT to create bots for games, because of its pixel identification ability. And these tools are available free or as open source in most cases. However, since using bots or third-party programs (primarily) in multiplayer games is against the terms of the license agreement, forums even like AutoIT are usually blacklisted as being related to warez/cracks by popular groups. For example, on the Barracuda web filter appliance, the AutoIT forum is blocked by default. Getting yourself known as being in the botting industry may affect you adversly in this way also. So be careful.
