Hey, how can I extract the build of Windows PE from the Windows 7 RC1. I'd like to make it into a bootable ISO so I can burn it and boot into that particular version of WinPE. How would I go about doing this, I have the WAIK downloaded and installed.

Thanks.

Is there a difference between the 7rc PE and the 7 WAIK PE?

I'm not sure, but isn't there a generic way to extract WinPE from pretty much any OS that has it?

It might be easier to just use the PE that comes with the WAIK. Check IcemanND's guide that is stickied for info.

EDIT: Thanks, the way I posted didn't help with deploying XP at all, so thanks for referring me to the guide.
