vista install screen unreadable

Hi,

The vista home basic oem install screen is unreadable.

The screen appears in text mode during the early graphic install stage.

So, is there a way to install vista in text mode somehow? Or, how can

I change into a proper graphic mode. Perhaps, the grapic card is unsupported

for vista home basic oem?

Thanks.

Is this a new computer? I usually see graphical problems (without seeing a picture) based upon memory support, bad memory, or bad video cards. Here is an example of "memory support" graphic corruption. This would only happen when 2 sticks of memory were used on a specific motherboard, but it worked normally with only one:

That might be caused by having a tiny PSU. LOL.

I gotten similar just from plugging another HDD with a 90 W (or about that) PSU on a 2001 Gateway LOL.

That image is actually Symantec Ghost 7.5 Client for DOS.
